my journal on what i did on the set.

week 1
During the first week we were divided into small groups and from these small groups we each assigned our self a role i choose technical manager. I worked along our post-production manager to make sure that our VT were film able. Also we discovered which round we would be making for the live show, ours was the sport round.

week 2
On this week our major problem was the name of our quiz show. We managed to come up with 'Culture City'. As soon as this was done we decided on a logo, and the format of the set. Since i was the technical manager i didn't really get to do much thoughout this week, but i helped where i could.

week 3
During week three i found myself with nothing to do alot of the time so I asked the set designers if i could help paint the set, they agreed. I worked on the drawing of the building and then helped finish off the painting.

week 4
This week we finished off the flats and began rehearsals using the last groups script. We each rotated at different roles within the studio, this was really fun as it gave us the chance to have ago lots of different roles. I started on camera and found it really easy to get the hang off. But my overal chosen choice was to be the Floor Manager, i liked the controll and the real of people having to listen to what i had to say. After everyone had gone me, laruen, and stuart all sat down and read though our script, it was not going well. After a long talk about it, we decided to step in and mark down notes and other ways to improve. I am so glad we did this because if we hadn't the quiz show wouldn't of been such a success.

week 5
We finally found out which role we be doing in the live show and I was picked to be the assistan director and the floor manager, i was so happy. We did many a rehearsal to get ourself ready for the main production. We filmed the quiz show live at the end of the week, I did my job well and was praised for the controlling factor involved.

i took some work for Mark and stuart on my blog because i needed to be reminded of what we did and how we did it. I also took the pictures from stuart because i had lost mine.
