Evaluation for Quiz show

When i first heard we had to create our own Quiz show i was a little scared. But once we got into the flow of things and started to get use to th equipment involved it became easier.
We did a few pratice runs with the last groups script, this didnt go that well because we didnt really under most of the question and the script wasn't put well togeather.
Then we decided to try and use ours. This went terribe, the reason for this is because our script didn't make sence and on top of that it didnt interact with the VT's. After the practice had been done and everyone went home, me, stuart, and laruen stayed behind and had a look though the script to see what we could change. After a long talk and some changes we gave the changed script to laruen to create the finished piece for our filming day. The day came and im am gald to say all the touches we did to the script really worked well and it all flowed nicely.
When it came down to the day that we had to shot the real thing, this got alittle tense, the reason for this is because our host didnt show up on time. When he finally got there we start the practices. It went really well.
On the first half of the show i was appointed as the assisant director, this ment i had to time in the Video clips and also make sure i made the calls when the VT's were ready. I found this a little less chanllenging then i thought it would be. I believe the reason for that would be because i pictured the job having more then a stop watch.
The first half went by really fast and i think everyone did really well. The Video clips could of be put togeather abit better but it wasn't the end of the earth. After we had, had a small break (10 minuets) everyone got put into there second persitions. I moved my way onto the floor. I was chosen to be floor manager, this was great fun. I loved ordering people around and using the headset. The power was unreal.
The second half didnt go as smooth i thought because we had a problem with one of the VT's. lucky it was sorted and our host recovered very well.
The show ended well and i think bobby did an amazing job as our host.
If i ever had to do this project again i would made sure thaty the script was perfect first, instead of waiting till the last day. I would also change certain Vt's so that they all flowed nicely.
My most favourite time during this assignment must be the floor managers position. Many because having that power was good. But also being in the knowing, when i say this i mean the floor manager has to know what is going on constently unlike the camera men, they dont need to know there is someone outside the room. They just focus on there angles and shots.
